Usually most pumpers feel much more comfortable wearing the infusion set in the abdomen because there is plenty of site to rotate and change but sometimes because local site infection, or because some adhesives can cause local skin irritation and sometimes it may appear what long-term pump users call “site fatigue” it means the beginning of insulin lypodistrofy you may need to switch the infusion set to other part of your body.
That is why we have asked permission to some of our more successful pumpers to let us take pictures of alternate injection sites and we show them for you.
